One of my favourite activities is afternoon tea with my Oma in her garden. We usually have homemade plum jam with rye bread, some sweet biscuits and freshly brewed tea, and the cups always have saucers. Flowers from the garden in a tiny crystal cut glass vase and a bright table cloth are also essential. But of course, the table setting is really just set dressing for the main event - rich conversation, connection and storytelling.
