Three cheeky masked lapwing birds in the reeds by the beach. These birds were spotted on Coledale Beach south of Sydney. They were pleasant enough not to attack me while I observed them, as they are often quite protective of their patch. They are a common sight, but isn't there something so charming about familiar faces?
